Kim Bum & Lee Chung Ah sued by their own companies

Kim Bum and Lee Chung Ah, among others have been served with a lawsuit by their former management agency on the 8th for breaching their contracts.

I Entertainment had filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central Court on the 8th, requesting for compensation in damages from Kim Bum, Lee Chung Ah, Yoo Yeon Suk and Kim Bum's manager, totaling to 1.145 billion won.

According to a representative from I Entertainment, Kim Bum and Lee Chung Ah had signed a 6 and 3 year contract with them respectively last year. But from March 2009, Kim Bum and the others broke off contact with them and started working with other companies on dramas and CFs.

They expressed that because of this breach of contract by them, the company has suffered grave financial losses and are thus seeking for compensation.

And for breaching the contract, they are asking 500 million won from Kim Bum, 160 million won from Lee Chung Ah, 36 million won from Yoo Yeon Suk and 440 million won from Kim Bum's manager.

The Seoul Central Court has already accepted the lawsuit filed by I Entertainment and will be processing the case shortly.

This shock news comes just days before Kim Bum's new movie, Flight begins airing in cinemas on 10th December.
