Wondergirls Meet Mick Jagger

Wonder Girls are collaborating with renowned English producer Dave Stewart for their American debut album, which will be released in February next year.

The Wonder Girls visited Stewart's studio in Los Angeles on Dec 4. As well as working on music productions, the girls had photo shoots and filming sessions at Stewart's photography studio. There was also a surprise visit from Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger.

Stewart "tweeted" a photo with the girls and even uploaded a demo-version of the song "Always Without Me" from the American debut album for loyal fans on Dec 5.

As both a musician and record producer, Stewart is best known as a former member of the Eurythmics. "Sweet Dreams" (1983), "Here Comes the Rain Again" (1984), and "Would I Lie to You?" (1985) are a few of the international hits produced by Stewart more than 20 years ago.

"Stewart is scheduled to work with the Wonder Girls on their American debut album," said JYP Entertainment representative. "Always Without Me" is said to be one of the three songs written and produced by Stewart.

Having recently finished performing in Shanghai, the Wonder Girls are currently in America and are scheduled to appear on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" on Dec 9.

18 Year ago, on this very day, 9th of December, a special baby boy was born. He always dreamt of becoming a star when he grew up, still, he worked hard in his studies, help his mother do the housework, and sang his lungs out in the shower XD (just kidding~) In 2006, his chance finally came, SM Entertainment's yearly 'Casting System' had came and Minho joined it hopping that his talent would be discovered.

His charms attracted the judges of the audition and so began his road to Stardom. Working hard along the way, training day & night, being in CFs, music Videos, even Modeling before debut, until today, Minho has became a member of one of the most loved boy groups in Korea! =DD

Well, he's now in Canada filming Go! Go! Dream Team season 2, so lets sing Happy Birthday so loud that he can hear us all the way from Vancouver! ^^

Beast Fan signing Tour in Korea

BEAST announced that they will go around Korea and do a national fan signing tour. They've been toppingthe charts with their new song Mystery and their fan signing tour proves their popularity is rising even higher.

The group had their first fansigning event in Seoul on the 28th of November. Now they will start their tour of them on the 11th starting in Incheon.

A CUBE representative said, "BEAST is very excited to meet their fans in the different cities and get closer to them."

BEAST has already sold around 20,000 copies of their mini album, BEAST IS THE B2ST. They've been doing quite well for rookies, don't you think?

Kim Bum & Lee Chung Ah sued by their own companies

Kim Bum and Lee Chung Ah, among others have been served with a lawsuit by their former management agency on the 8th for breaching their contracts.

I Entertainment had filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central Court on the 8th, requesting for compensation in damages from Kim Bum, Lee Chung Ah, Yoo Yeon Suk and Kim Bum's manager, totaling to 1.145 billion won.

According to a representative from I Entertainment, Kim Bum and Lee Chung Ah had signed a 6 and 3 year contract with them respectively last year. But from March 2009, Kim Bum and the others broke off contact with them and started working with other companies on dramas and CFs.

They expressed that because of this breach of contract by them, the company has suffered grave financial losses and are thus seeking for compensation.

And for breaching the contract, they are asking 500 million won from Kim Bum, 160 million won from Lee Chung Ah, 36 million won from Yoo Yeon Suk and 440 million won from Kim Bum's manager.

The Seoul Central Court has already accepted the lawsuit filed by I Entertainment and will be processing the case shortly.

This shock news comes just days before Kim Bum's new movie, Flight begins airing in cinemas on 10th December.

Secret Song JiEun & Hwanhee doing a duet

It has been reported that Secret member Song Jieun, will have an official debut as a solo artist aside from her fellow members on December 15th... Well, maybe "solo" is not the right word, since it is going to be a duet with Fly to the Sky's Hwanhee.

The song will be called Yesterday and its first teaser has already been released through GomTV. There will be two more teasers prior to the songs' actual release. The harmony between Song Jieun's vibrant sound and Hwanhee's charismatic voice are expected to blow minds.

TVXQ Jaechunsu Fan meeting on the 12th this month!

Korea University, Hwajeong Gymnasium, Free Charity Fanmeeting

The 3 TVXQ members in legal dispute is having their solo activities in Korea by holding a surprise charity fanmeeting.

This is the first fanmeeting held by the 3 members who in last July submitted provisional disposition application against the exclusive contract effect to their label, SM Entertainment therefore the event is gathering a lot of attention. Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong on the coming 12th at 5:00 p.m at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Korea University, Seoul will have this individual activity and about 6,000 TVXQ fans are able to attend the fanmeeting.

At Yes24, the subject of the event is entitled as “Smile Again” under the name of three members and the fanmeeting also carries the nature as charity event. At the venue entrance, there will be a fundraising to collect voluntary donations from visitors to help the needy children. The three members in participation is planning to deliver the full amount gathered from this fanmeeting to the UNICEF.

It’s been confirmed that TVXQ songs as a group will not be used in this event. The representativeness of the three members in last November ‘2009 MAMA’ had raised a sensitive conflict and a rule about partial representative is being interpreted. The name of TVXQ can only be used when the 5 members are together, and if only three members being active in representing TVXQ, then the remaining two members are able to make complain.

Therefore, there’s a specific information being announced that during the event, TVXQ’s song won’t be sung, and the charity event title will not mention the name of TVXQ. The event is planned to have 1 hour talk show with the fans, and is going to be filled with Christmas Carol.

The official from the event said, “The date and location are already confirmed, but the time and information is still tentative. After the three members finish their schedule in Japan and arrive back to Korea, then we’ll start to coordinate the specific details.”

The advance ticket sales of ‘Smile Again’ will start via the official website Yes24 starting December 8th at 8 pm, the ticket is free, and one person can only get one ticket.

TVXQ still Exist in Japan

TV Asahi [ontama]’s grand activity [Ontama Carnival] will be held next January in Yokohama Arena.

The entertainers that will perform on this event will be announced today.

[Ontama Carnival], first held in January of this year, 2 days mobilizing 24,000 people.

KREVA, Koda Kumi, Tohoshinki, Perfume, flumpool along with others will make up the 16 group of entertainers that will attend.

In addition, January 23rd (Saturday) and 24th (Sunday), Qqua Timez, WEAVER, HY, S.R.S., BoA and so on.

Moreover, booking admission tickets sales begins on December 4th, sales time is December 19th (Saturday).

Rain wants to get Married!!

On a recent interview with KBS Entertainment News when asked about future dating plans Rain revealed "Well I actually want to get married, so if anyone is interested please let me know!"

Entertainment News also asked Rain "What is your ideal type." Rain fans listen up, here's your key to success! Rain answered cheekily "I want someone sexy, but as I'm growing rather old for that, I want someone who's gentle too. So Half Gentle, Half Sexy" ^^ LOL

In the Interview, they also followed Rain to New York for the Ninja Assassin promotions. Rain was featured in a public American TV program to introduce his movie Ninja Assassin, backstage, he showed us where his Autograph was signed on a wall along with other big Stars like Lady Gaga and said "I've got my autograph right here! -points- Ninja Assassin~! " in a really cute way ^^

We also got to see a footage where surprise guest Kungfu king Jackie Chan gave Rain a bouquet of flowers.

Lastly, on the 28th November episode of Star Golden Bell, MBLAQ revealed that Rain didn't receive even a bow 3 days after they turned his proposal for dinner down because they were already in a full state. What did Rain have to say? After letting out a long sigh~ He replied tenderly, "Those rumours are totally untrue." then he added smiling "I will see you (MBLAQ) in the practice room after I come back" Watch out boys! XD

SS501 & 2NE1 Not Attending Melon Awards

Bad news for Triple S, SS501 & 2Ne1 is NOT Attending the Melon Awards 2009. DSP said in a interview through the phone with The Daily that their schedules for the Asian Tour would not allow them to attend the awards ceremony. Kara's attendance is not yet confirmed but it is unlikely that they will be able to go.

2Ne1's company YG Entertainment said the same things for 2Ne1 & Big Bang (not confirm yet) through the same method used by DSP lol XD

Although many groups have not been confirmed that they will attend the Melon Awards, fans, don't let this stop you from voting for your idols! ^^

The Melon Awards will be held on December 16th at 7PM at the Olympic Park Stadium, Korea.

Xiah Junsu Village

A village that has adopted TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu’s name in Cambodia has been created titled ‘Xiah Junsu Village’.

International organization AdraKore began building houses and improving living conditions for the poor in a village just an hour away from Phnom Penh.

This aid for the poor received a lot of help from TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu and his fanclub who donated money to the organization last year. The fanclub members decided to give a thoughtful present by collecting donations and giving a fraction of it to AdraKorea.

AdraKorea began building houses for the poor who lived in unstable conditions and improved living environments to protect children from unexpected natural or man-made disasters and the organization was able to do this thanks to Xiah Junsu and his fanclub.

30 houses were reconstructed. Most of these houses were worn down and were made of banana or palm leaves. The ceilings and walls had been slowly disintegrating so whenever it rained, families were sure to get wet. However, these houses have been changed into warm, safe havens.

Jin Hana, who is currently helping out with the project in Cambodia, said, “When it rained at night, families had to move around to find a place where the rain or the wind couldn’t get to, or they had to sleep leaning against the wall on an unstable bamboo floor. The children are now able to sleep safely and soundly.”

Volunteer Shin Sung Eun said, “The people here don’t know who TVXQ is, but they are very thankful that people far away in Korea have sent them donations of love,” and “People here call this village the ‘Xiah Junsu village.’”

Shin Won Seok, the secretary-general of Adra, stated, “We would like to thank Xiah Junsu and his fanclub for teaching us once more that giving helps people in need and makes the world a brighter place,” and “Their love helped those in need in the global community.”

TVXQ accused of another fraud

We had previously reported that CreBeau, the cosmetics company known for their involvement in the TVXQ controversy, got sued in China by a company that used to distribute their products in the Shanghai region. Now, CreBeau's Da Lia region distributor decided to do the same.

According to the plaintiff, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu of TVXQ urged the plaintiff to distribute their cosmetics products claiming that they are shareholders of CreBeau and will personally take part in product promotion in the Da Lia region. The members did not show up for promotion and distributors from other regions informed the plaintiff that the CreBeau office has disappeared, forcing the plaintiff to sue CreBeau for fraud in order to compensate damage that they suffered. The plaintiff's claim is very similar to that of the Shanghai region distributor's, who also claimed that they suffered damage because TVXQ members falsely promised to show up for promotions and CreBeau's office disappeared.

Group 2AM and singer JOO will have their comeback early next year.

Singer producer Park JinYoung wrote on JYP Entertainment’s official homepage on 2nd December talking about his own singer comeback as well as this piece of news.

He revealed that he is working on 2AM and JOO’s album currently. He said, “Early next year, 2AM and JOO whom everyone is waiting for will release their albums.”

He added, “Previously many thought that 2AM’s music style was a little monotonous, I’m working on this with the other producers currently and I hope that everyone will be a little more patient about their album. It will be a really satisfactory album since there are composers who are better than me working on the album.”

“As for JOO, even though she released an album a year back, due to her personal request for more training, the album is delayed. She has been training with the other trainee the past year. You will be shocked to hear her vocals capabilities.”

Meanwhile, Park Jin Young releases his new album on 1st December titled ‘Sad Freedom’ and is currently promoting the title song ‘No Love No More’.

Hyung Joon & Kibum love <3

How many episodes of Inkigayo and Music Banks have we seen that showcase both SS501 & U-kiss these days? Having released big hits both a the same time, the nearly identical twin brothers often clash in music shows. Now how does Hyung Joon spend his time while waiting for his turn to perform on stage with his group members? As Entertainment Weekly follows Hyung Joon backstage, we discovered that he loves to watch his little brother go "Man man ha ni~" backstage! LOl~

After U-kiss finishes, he gives all the members a handshake and proudly declares "My Brother was the Best!" ^^ As they were asked about being in the industry as 'rival' groups, Kibum just said "Well I really look up to my brother" & in return Hyung Joon was happy to say that he learnt from his little dongsaeng too! =D

SS501 Leader Hyun Joong who was also on set said cheekily: "They look so a-like. If Hyung Joon ever leaves SS501 we have Ki Bum to back us up, and if Kibum is not around, they can lend Hyung Joon ^^. No one will ever know!" Later he continued, "I hope fans will love SS501 and also U-kiss, they are great! U-kiss Hwaiting!"

Don't miss the airing of the first episode of the new SBS Drama "Will It Snow On Christmas" today. ^^ Will It Snow on Christmas will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 p.m. on SBS. Japanese fans can watch the drama in Japan next April through KNTV.

The storyline of the new soap is the usual boy-meets-girl scenario, but boasts a lovely couple and some of the best makers of dramas in the business.

The handsome Cha Kang-jin, played by actor Ko Soo, leads a tough life, knowing that the only way for him to escape the dark shadows of his childhood is to become the best at everything he does, from fighting to studying. The quiet Kang-jin meets Han Ji-wan, played by Han Ye-seul, and discovers that the world is actually a warm, caring place. When Ji-wan leaves her hometown and Kang-jin after her brother's death from an accident, the heartbroken Kang-jin realizes how much he loved her and embarks on a lonely journey to win her back.

A few years pass, and the two characters meet by chance, only to find themselves already leading new lives without each other.

Ko has made the headlines, as it is the first time in four years and since serving in the military that the star has returned to the small screen.

``I felt both nervous and excited during the first shoot. I watched the episodes and I realized that something was different. I have lost weight, for starters, but there was something different about my presence. I hope the viewers will feel that throughout the drama,'' Ko said during a press conference in southern Seoul last week.

Ko's return will have his fans watching the show, but another reason for the anticipation is the makers: writer Lee Kyung-hee and producer Choi Mun-seok.

Lee has garnered fans with her work in a number of hit dramas, including ``Sang-doo, Let's Go to School,'' ``I'm Sorry, I Love You'' and ``Thank You.'' Choi became famous for his work on ``Something Happened in Bali,'' inventing his own style in portraying young and reckless, passionate, love.

``I always wanted to work with Lee and I've tried to persuade her to work together for a long time. We didn't have a specific storyline or character, but we had one idea in common. We wanted to work on a love story, and we wanted to focus on the people,'' Choi said.

According to the production company iHQ, the soap was sold to Japanese DVD firm Tsutaya before the first airing.

The bubbly Han will be playing the happy and headstrong character Ji-wan, who she said was not too different from her own personality.

``She is such a lovable character. I'm actually benefiting from her because she's so lively. It makes me feel happy too,'' Han said.

Han has been portraying various roles since her debut, from the helpless girl who lost her memory in ``Couple or Trouble'' (2006, MBC), the cute and attractive character in ``Miss Gold Digger'' (2007) to the aggressive gambler in the drama ``Tazza'' (2008, SBS), and thanks to the challenge, she has matured into a versatile actress.

``Will it Snow for Christmas'' has stiff competition as the most popular series in the Wednesday and Thursday slot is ``Iris'' on KBS. When asked if she felt any pressure, Han smiled and shrugged.

``I would be lying if I said we are not at all concerned, but our show is in a totally different genre, so we decided to just continue making high quality drama. That's what counts in the end, right?'' she said.

When asked if he really thought it would snow this Christmas, Ko smiled and nodded his head.

``Our drama is warm enough to melt all your worries and take the chills away. And personally, yes, I think it's going to snow,'' he said.

Yesterday was The Wondergirl's First Concert in Shanghai : The First Wonder. This time, Sunye & Sunmi brought us different solos & due to Sunmi's unfortunate injury to her leg when she practiced the day before, she did not dance for most of the performances but she did what she could.

Being in the same company as 1Day, JYP had arranged 2PM to perform their lastest hit 'HeartBeat' even though the concert only lasted for 2Hours. That sure gave the Wonderfuls (& Hottests) a treat! As if that wasn't enough to get the fans going crazy, the Wondergirls had a Meet & Greet with their fans after the show & spoke loads of Chinese! How lucky!

Taemin fully recovered from H1N1 ^^

SHINee's Taemin has fully recovered from swine flu!

Through a phone call with Newsen on the 2nd, SM Entertainment has confirmed, "He took a test on the 1st and it revealed that he is now fully recovered from swine flu."

Taemin had been rushed to the hospital due to a fever on the 25th, and was diagnosed H1N1 positive on the 26th.

Upon his recovery, SM Entertainment stated that Taemin will be resuming his activities starting from the 3rd. Taemin is the third member of SHINee to be diagnosed with swine flu, following Jonghyun and Onew.

Regarding the success of 'Ring Ding Dong' and how SHINee could not perform this hit song together as much, because of the flu, the SME representative stated, "We have been adjusting their schedules, because the members' health comes first. Also, after we received confirmation of Jonghyun and Onew's recovery, we cleansed everything in their house."

Congratulations to Taemin on his recovery! Now fans will be able to enjoy 'Ring Ding Dong' performed by the whole SHINee.

After ending the promotions of their 1st minialbum ‘For Muzik’, which was a success, 4Minute HyunA and JiYoon will be revealing their solo albums, without any before-hand preview or news released and much to the sweet surprise of fans.

The 2 members will be showing their individual charms and talents through their solo albums, something they did not get to show when they are promoting as part of the group.

Not only will the music style be unique to them, the concept will also be unique to the 2 members. The 2 are known for their dance and rap capabilities in the group.

Their agency said, “We have not decided which of the 2 will release their solo album first yet. The 2 members are currently practising for their performances to the pop dance songs prepared for them. We will decide about the exact promotions period after work for the album has ended.”

TVXQ Trio to hold secret fanmeeting in Korea

Looks like the rift between TVXQ members may be widening - latest rumor has it that Jaejoong, Junsu & Yoochun (JaeChunSu) have been planning a secret fanmeeting with Cassiopeians without Yunho & Changmin (HoMin).

"Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun will hold a fanmeeting in Korea with their fans," an official from Best Hits Song Festival reportedly revealed. "The December event is still being planned, and the date and location have not been confirmed yet."

Although this may not be any indication of a personal dispute between the members, the disunity will undoubtedly be glaringly obvious at this event. Furthermore, what will SM Entertainment think of this "secretive" act of defiance?

Tomorrow night, South Korean female girl group the Wonder Girls will be having their first ever solo concert at the Shanghai Grand Stage. To be able to adapt and familiarize with Shanghai, these girl arrived early and had a press conference / meet & greet session yesterday.

After gaining much popularity with just one song “Nobody”, 2 years since their debut, the Wonder Girls released 4 singles & 1 album. Upon speaking first impression of Shanghai, all 5 of them agreed that “Shanghai is a great place, at the airport we saw many of our fans welcoming us. With that, we felt that we have been here before even though its our first time.”

Talking about their future plans, they expressed that the success in the US was just a beginning, and they will still be in the states for quite some time. However, they aren’t afraid of being replaced by other girl groups in the Asia market even when they are still progressing in the US. Moreover, they wished to learn from these groups be it the ability to sing or dance.

Specially for their China concert, 5 members of the Wonder Girls had been practicing their mandarin extremely hard for their Chinese fans. Furthermore, they also had prepared a few Chinese songs & solo performance specially to suit the audiences of China. Mnet's Oh Good concert marked 2PM's first official activity as 6 members and they told reporters that they were very anxious and confident. They continued on, stating that they are confident in the song Heartbeat, but not confident about getting first place, instead, they promise to show the fans everything that they have practiced hard for.

Taeyang will first perform this song LIVE on the 15th on SBS Inkigayo.

After his latest digital single “Where U At” and it’s unexpected success, Taeyang will finally release “Wedding Dress” on November 13th. There is not a date set for the music video yet, but it would most likely be released around the same time.

I’m having a very happy time lately. Although I’m not able to sleep 3 hours a day due to my busy schedule, when I think about the 1 year and 6 months of blank time, you wouldn’t know how happy and precious it is for me to be able to sing and dance in front of you.

Because I didn’t have much experience other than the two training periods, the truth is, I was extremely nervous and had a great deal of psychological burden about returning on stage. [News] 091111 3 TVXQ Members Side’s Response to SM 12th Deadline

The legal representative of 3 TVXQ members Youngwoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu from Sejong firm has stated clearly that they don’t have intention to respond SM proposal and will remain in defense side.

On the 11th through a phone call with Star Money Today, Sejong official said, “The three members don’t have any plan to respond an action regarding to SM’s deadline on the 12th” he determined. “The three members will start their activities regardless their relationship with SM.”

At 63rd building, Seoul on last November 2nd, SM held a press conference and announced their request for 3 members to decide their comeback the latest on November 12th as TVXQ is already planned to start group activities soon next year.

After SM stand became known, 3 members side commented, “According to the provisional disposition verdict paper, TVXQ can do their activities as long as there’s a liaison party between three members and SM.” The official revealing in reference to the provisional disposition verdict paper to explain their current stand and situation.

Currently the three members after receiving partial suspension of their exclusive contract decision from the court, is in process of preparing the income lawsuit.

Sejong official said, “I don’t think it’s necessary to prepare everything in hurry as the court is ruling in favor of 3 members side for now. We’re going to slow down until all necessary materials are ready and in two months, we’re going to start the lawsuit.”

South Korea's world figure skating champion Kim Yu-na headed for Paris to play in the first Grand Prix series competition of the 2009-2010 season.

The 19-year-old, who won her first world championship title in March, has been training in Toronto with her Canadian coach Brian Oser. She will open the season Friday at Trophee Eric Bompard in Paris, while eyeing her first gold in the Vancouver Winter Olympics early next year.

Kim will show off new programs choreographed by David Wilson in Paris ― skating to the "James Bond 007" theme in the short program and George Gershwin's "Piano Concerto in F Major" in the long program.

Kim skated to "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint-Saens for the short program and Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade" for the free skating competition last season, which won her a record overall 207.71 points in the world championship.

Performing flawless jumps and spirals that earned her four crowns in five events, including the world championship and the Four Continents Championships last season, she became the strongest favorite to win the gold medal in the Olympics.

Japan's Asada Mao, the former world champion, and Italy's Carolina Kostner, former runner-up, will also compete in the event.

The South Korean skater is also scheduled to compete in Skate America in Lake Placid, New York, next month to qualify for the Grand Prix Final in Tokyo in December.

Only six skaters who accrue the most points through six Grand Prix tour events will compete in Tokyo.

It's been a long time since anyone's heard of Joanne Lee right? She debuted in korea a long time ago a little after BoA did and had a good chance to rise to the top when she suddenly went back to the states to focus on her studies. Although it's been a long time, she suddenly appeared on a Chinese program to surprise her brother Nathan Lee (from korean group TAKE) in September.

Nathan knew that there was going to be a surprise, but he didn't know that it was his sister who took a 13 hour plane ride to see Nathan. He actually started to get teary when he saw her simply because he hasn't seen her for 9 months after his visit to the states. Seems like H1N1 has infected another k-pop star... and this time, it's our
beloved Lee Seung Gi.

Lee Seung Gi had shown a symptom of high fever on his way home from his KBS Happy Sunday - 1 Night 2 Days filming on November 7th. After two days, on the 9th, Lee Seung Gi visited the hospital for a swine flu checkup, and was declared positive today on the 10th.

Lee Seung Gi's agency stated,

"Lee Seung Gi showed a high fever on top of a serious headache and coughing. The emergency room suspected on the 9th that the H1N1 virus was causing these symptoms and prescribed Tamiflu. His diagnosis on the swine flu was confirmed on the 10th and doctors declared a mandatory seven day rest period."

This not only means he will be on a momentary hiatus from his television shows, he will not be able to attend Concert X, which was set to open up here in the States. His cancellation for the concert has been made official.

The agency revealed,

"We apologize to the staffs who committed a lot of time to prepare for this concert and those who have been waiting. We are truly sorry."

Currently entwined in a lawsuit and discord with management company over terms in their contract, Dong Bang Shin Ki member Hero JaeJoong said, “This is a time when it will be difficult/tiring to show my face.”

JaeJoong was at the press conference for Telecinema ‘Heaven’s Postman’ on 9th November in Seoul WangSipRi CGV. This is the first time that he is attending an official event 4 months after his lawsuit against SM Ent with fellow TVXQ members Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun. Wearing a black suit, he showed his nervousness by saying, "It's the first time I've stood in front of so many cameras alone."

He said, “I thought I have to participate in this press conference. It's a movie we shot last year so I've been cherishing it in my mind for the past year. Even though it may be a tough time now, I told myself ‘Even if for just myself, I should congratulate myself’.”

On the day of the press conference of Asia's top group TVXQ's member Jaejoong, many fans from all over Asia came to get a glimpse of their favorite star.

The press conference for 'Postman of Heaven', in which YoungWoong Jaejoong plays the lead role, was held at 4:30 pm on the 9th at the CGV in Wangship-li. Asian fans flocked the scene beforehand.

One Chinese fan who had come to see YoungWoong Jaejoong asked a reporter, "Can you secretly take me in with you? I heard of the news yesterday in China, got on a plane and arrived this morning."

DJ Tukutz of Epik High who left last month to serve his mandatory military service, wrote to his fans recently.

The letter went up on Epik High's website (mapthesoul.com) that read:

"To all the fans who were worried about the alcohol and cigarettes, there's none of that here, so my body is getting a lot healthier. After my mailing address was released / published last week, I've been receiving a lot of letters and I'm ever so grateful for them. I've realized, to a soldier, letters are the 2nd most important thing after food."

Tukutz added:

"I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard my military training photo has been released. How is it? Is it strange? I'm still in training, so I may look a bit awkward, but as I develop as a soldier, I will show more distinguished and cooler photos."

Park Jinyoung reveals return plans for the first time on the show "Mureuppak."

Airing on the 11th, MBC's 'Mureuppak Dosa,' Park Jinyoung carefully revealed plans on bringing Jaebum back.

A JYPE representative said "He revealed the drawing of Jaebum's return a little bit. You may consider it as an upgrade to the responses he's been giving about the Jaebum case. It's not a response that just plainly states the recent conditions but rather a response to the fans. We expect for the curiosity of the fans to be at least a little bit helped."

This is the first time that Park Jinyoung and JYPE spoke out about the Jaebum case. The fact that Park Jinyoung is working on making Jaebum's return a reality is causing much attention.

TVXQ's Manager Kim Young Min LIES

It seems that TVXQ's manager Kim Young Min has been lying about the member's loyalty towards the company all along! He himself approved of the contract between DSBK and CreBeau!

At the start of November, CreBeau, the company behind TVXQ members Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun's cosmetics line, spoke up against SM Entertainment. At that time, Kang Suk Won, the president of CreBeau's Korean branch WishopPlus Inc, threatened, "I will not hesitate to reveal the details of SME’s absurd act to the public and to the court."

It looks like Kang just might follow through with this loaded threat - a follow-up interview that was released earlier this week has got fans abuzz once again. The president claimed that SM Entertainment attempted to cover this whole controversy and paint it as some sort of “national fraud.” “SME should stop the media plays and provide concrete evidence behind the harsh yet vague accusations they have been making.”

Kang answered some very controversial questions and cleared up much confusion and misunderstanding about the status of the three DBSK members in the business.

#1 SME claimed that CreBeau approached the members without consulting the company in advance.

Why should the members’ private financial investments be regulated by their company? If that’s not intruding upon their basic rights, then what is? We never attempted to use their fame and status for advertisement or profit. Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun invested in the business as mere financial investors, as individuals, not as celebrities. Are the members not allowed to make private investments for their future?

#2 SME claimed that the members get a 5% royalty of the profit of CreBeau.

#3 Representative Kim Young Min of SME claimed that the DBSK members visited China on January 6 of 2009. He said that the members claimed to visit China as a vacation, but instead they participated in the CreBeau China Investment Orientation.

SME is bringing this up again, but during January, there was no investment at all from anyone. Therefore, the members didn’t have the status of investor at that time. Additionally, it was only by chance the members were seen there. That orientation was supposed to be private, but when DBSK appeared there, thousands of people suddenly gathered. The pictures they took with the CreBeau representatives at the orientation were spread around on the internet.

We have never used the members in advertisements. We even provided measures to prevent the pictures from spreading further on the web. In fact, DBSK’s manager was with them at the orientation. When the members decided to invest in the business, Kim Young Min approved. And now, his attitude has changed 180 degrees all of a sudden.

Because SME spread malicious rumors and sent complaints to the main branch of CreBeau, CreBeau businesses all over the world have been damaged in terms of trust with the customers and reputation of the business. Jonghyun recovered from H1N1 but Onew is sick

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee's leader, Onew has also been hit by it.

The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.

Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.

The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested for precaution, and neither of them have shown any symptoms of the illness fortunately.

So despite welcoming Jonghyun back from illness, SHINee will perform as a 4-member group in Onew's absence on the 8th November episode of Inkigayo.

Is it just me, or are artists today all shamelessly plagiarising on everything they can lay hands on? Well, whatever the case is, the recent hot star G-dragon has been turned into a victim himself by no other than MASLO. Poor Gd TT

Maslo who? Maslo (pronounced meh-sul-lo) is famous to those in touch with the Korean underground hip hop scene. Maslo teamed up with another underground artist from Soul Connection named "JEPP" to release an album called "BLACKOUT."

If the album cover didn't do it, their song which is identical to GD's "Heartbreaker" will certainly create a buzz amongst VIP's and netizens alike.

The "BLACKOUT" album was digitally released today and they will perform this song for the first time at an underground showcase at November 11th.

Many netizens feel that Maslo is doing this for "noise marketing," to become popular in the mainstream. However, Maslo's fans have stated that "Maslo is already known in the underground realm and doesn't even want to go mainstream." Other netizens also voiced their opinions saying that people can just view this as an "anti-GD track" and should just be dismissed.

Another netizen is speculating that if Maslo was asked if he plagiarized "Heartbreaker," Maslo will respond with "no... I just sampled Flo Rida's 'Right Round.'"

It is uncertain if YG will seek legal actions however, there have been buzz that they will which might even bring more light into this situation.

As for the song teaser itself... we would like to rate it C for crap.

Shin Jung Hwan in motorcycle accident

About a year has passed since Shin Jung Hwan's bicycle accident and now he is in another accident.

On November 6th, Shin Jung Hwan was riding around on his motorcycle when he got into an accident.

Associates said, "Shin Jung Hwan has suffered some serious injuries after a motorcycle accident. He's currently receiving treatment in the hospital and will most probably require surgery."

This seems to be a case of deja vu for Shin Jung Hwan as he had been in an accident while riding his bicycle last year in July. It seems like he is cursed with accidents since it's got him once again. But this time, it's much worse than the last.

Lee Minho to hold Fan Meeting in Japan!

Lee Min-ho, the star of the hit drama ``Boys Over Flowers,'' is holding his first fan meeting in Japan.

The 22-year-old actor has visited other Asian countries, including Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, for promotional events before, and this time he will meet his Japanese fans at ``Minoz JAPAN First Event'' in Tokyo on Nov. 26.

The event was to be held only once, but with tickets selling out quickly, organizers decided to hold a couple more. Specific dates and venues of the additional events were not confirmed.

Before the actual fan meeting, Lee will also appear on talk shows and mini-concerts during the Korea Entertainment Festival, which will be held at Universal Studios Japan, Nov. 22. On Nov. 25, Lee will attend an autograph event for his first photo essay ``Yeo, Travel with MINHO.''

Lee shot to stardom as the handsome and arrogant Goo Jun-pyo, depicting the Japanese cartoon character with the same dark curls and smile. The drama, along with the cast including Lee, Kim Beom, Kim Hyun-joong and the heroine Ku Hye-sun, captivated fans in Korea and Asia.

I was shocked when Kara's 4D(weird) but unbearably adorable member Nicole could speak Korean so well despite the fact that she had been raised in California! Newsen gives us a interesting fact about this idol, She TOPS her classes just as well as she sings!

The main character for Mnet's 'Kaist season 3', Nicole was noted for her intelligence when she ranked first in her middle school in America.

After graduating from the middle school in America, she returned to perform as an entertainer in Korea, and is currently being home schooled to meet the necessary requirements.

Her mothers thoughts on Nicole's casting on 'Kaist Season 3' were "It's nice to be successful as an celebrity, but I also have big hopes for our smart Nicole to continue school"

Currently Nicole has given interviews for 4 colleges, including Seoul K college. She was disqualified from her 1st interview, and is currently awaiting results for her 2nd interview. After Nicole was shocked from finding out she was disqualified from her 1st interview, she has lost her usual liveliness and is currently in a state of depression.

However, because Nicole has always had piety for her mother, she has decided to set up her study plan and gained a burning desire to study and is quietly getting her mind ready. Nicole's interview results is planned to be announced next week.

Why did Chae Dong Ha leave?

The now solo artist Chae Dong Ha revealed why he left SG Wannabe after years of hard work being the the leader of the group.

In an interview with Newsen, he stated his reasons for his departure from the group, "It's not because I wanted to go into acting. I never said I wanted to act. I was in our music video once and people thought it meant I wanted to act. I kept getting musical parts and since there was so much to experience from it, I decided to be part of a musical."

He also made it clear he didn't leave because he had a bad relationship with the members. He said, "That's not true. We were close. We still are. We call each other from time to time to check up on each other. Since we created music together, we became close and we respected each other for personal decisions. We were together for 5 years, of course we fought sometimes. If you only look at that, people might think I left because of the "bad relationships" but that is not the case. I never even thought about that."

He continued, "The members never complained about me leaving the group. They never made me feel guilty, I was so thankful for that. Until this day, I'm still thankful for them. I hope the best for them."

Then he said the real reason why he left, "I wanted to figure out my life. I debuted when I was 20 and I didn't even look back once. I just kept running forward, my health wasn't good. I wanted to think about what to do with my life. I didn't quit just so I could start over by myself."

He is planning on a comeback on the 10th.

It doesn't seem like a very long time does it? Let us travel back in time to appreciate the hardwork they've all been through for us ELFs!!!

The first time they debuted on SBS 'Popular Songs' on November the 6th with "KNOCK OUT aka Twins",

the first time they did "Show me your Love" with TVXQ which became the best selling record (49,945 copies) of December 2005 for Christmas ^^,

In February 2006, Super Junior 05 began performances for "Miracle", the second promotional single from their debut album. "Miracle" was the group's first single to peak #1 in online music charts of South Korea as well as the music charts of Thailand, (Hangeng! ^^)

On May 23th, 2006, We welcomed the 13th member of Super Junior, KYUHYUN! ^^ who was actually discovered through a singing competition in 2005!

Then they released the single "U" on May 25th for free download at their official website and had over 400 thousand downloads within five hours of release! It ultimately exceeded 1.7 million downloads, crashing the server! The physical single of "U" with a total of three tracks was released on June 6, 2006, eventually selling over 81,000 units.

The single became one of Korea's most popular songs of the year, yielding #1 spots for five consecutive weeks on two of Korea's top music programs. By the end of the year, Super Junior collected over seven awards in five of South Korea's top music award ceremonies, winning the title as Best New Group of 2006.

^^ Suju won the 'Best New Group' award that year for "U" and was nominated for 'Best Dance' award at the Mnet MKMF Awards ^^ Snatched a 'Best New Group' and also 'Best Music Video' too for the Golden Disk Awards. And LOADS AND LOADS of others too ^^! Too many to list out ^^ll

Super Junior's first sub-unit, the ballad-singing trio Super Junior-K.R.Y. (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung), debuted on November 5, 2006 with a performance of Hyena theme song "The One I Love" on KBS music program Music Bank.

A second sub-unit arrived in February 2007 called Super Junior-T. (Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Sungmin, Shindong & Eunhyuk) The trot-singing group released their first single "Rokkugo" in February 23, 2007 and made a debut performance on Popular Songs two days later.

Then On April 19, 2007, the four beloved members of Super Junior (Shindong, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun and Leeteuk) and two of the group's managers were involved in a car accident. The driver lost control of the vehicle and the van flipped over on its right side, colliding with the sidewalk.

Kyuhyun, who was sitting behind the driver's seat was severely injured with a fractured hip, pneumothorax from broken ribs, and deep scratches and bruises. He kept slipping in and out of consciousness for the next few days after the accident TT Leeteuk had severe scratches on his back and face, and had to receive stitches. He had a successful operation removing the glass shards on his back, and received a total of 170 stitches on both his back and face! TT

Shindong and Eunhyuk, the least injured with only a few cuts, scratches, and bruises, were both discharged on April 23, 2007. Leeteuk and Kyuhyun recovered faster than expected, and Leeteuk was discharged from the hospital on April 30, 2007. Kyuhyun was discharged two months later on July 5, 2007, but wasn't fully recovered till Febuary 2008.

Super Junior's second official album, DON'T DON was released on September 20th, 2007. (Heechul's red hair days, also when it was reported that he vomitted blood during a rehersal because he strained his voice too much for the song!! TT)

Within the first three days of release, offline album sales for Don't Don passed the 11,000 unit mark, debuting as #1 in all available offline charts. It finished the September monthly album sales as #1. 60,000 units were shipped by the first week of release and additional copies were printed. The album sold more than 160,000 copies by the end of the year, becoming the second best-selling record of 2007. The album also found success in Taiwan; it broke the record for being the highest ranked Korean album on the G-music Combo Billboard Chart, surpassing the albums of TVXQ and Shinhwa.

Supported by the release of Don't Don, Super Junior was nominated in seven separate categories at the 2007 M.NET/KM Music Festival that was held on November 17, 2007. Super Junior won three of those categories including "Netizen Choice Award" and "Mobile Popularity", being the biggest winner of the night. The group also won "Best Artist of the Year" (Daesang), termed by many as the highest recognition of the ceremony. Super Junior collected two more awards on December 14, 2007 at the 2007 Golden Disk Awards. Although defeated by SG Wannabe in winning the "Daesang", Super Junior won a "Bonsang" and the "TPL Anycall Popularity Award", which were reported as expected wins for the group by the media after the success of Don't Don.

On October 2, 2007, SM Entertainment announced a third Super Junior sub-unit Super Junior-M, with Hangeng (the leader), Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and two non-Super Junior members, Henry and Zhou Mi. A subgroup designated for the Chinese market.

Then the company announced that they would put Zhou Mi and Henry Lau into Super Junior which brought in a big wave of disatisfaction. Initially fans were planning to boycott the company's products, however, most fans agreed on a silent protest instead. Thousands of fans from Super Junior's official fanclub E.L.F. silently sat in front of the SM building and held signs that supported the group to have only thirteen members.

After more rumors regarding adding an Chinese member to the subgroup, the fans decided to gain a legal representation as part of SM Entertainment's stockholders. As of March 20, 2008, Super Junior fans purchased 58,206 stocks of SM Entertainment, holding 0.3% of the company's entire stock. They released a statement that they will obtain all chances to prevent SM Entertainment from adding new members and to keep Super Junior as only thirteen.

But Super Junior-M became a phenomenal success in China, having the opportunity to have two sold-out concerts in Hong Kong, top weekly ratings with their appearance on variety programs, and becoming the idol group with the most endorsement contracts in China! With the absence of almost half of the members in Korea, a fourth Super Junior sub-unit was created that same year to prevent Super Junior from disappearing in the Korean music industry. Then our Oppas had their first SUPER SHOW concert tour which kicked off on February 22, 2008 in Seoul. The tour covered three countries and had shows on six different cities, including Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing ^^

After that, their third album was released ^^ Presenting this year's hit, SORRY SORRY!

In less than a week after preorders were announced, over 150,000 copies were pre-ordered. Sorry, Sorry was their first album to debut at #1 on the Hanteo Charts, and it sold over 29,000 copies the first day, defeating Seo Taiji's record of 25,000.
Promotions for the album started March 13 with the performance of "Sorry, Sorry" and "Why I Like You" on Music Bank.

Two weeks later, "Sorry, Sorry" became the number one song of the week on the same program. During the group's performance on music program Popular Songs on March 15, ratings went up to as high as 14%, the highest in recent years!

From March to May, "Sorry, Sorry" collected a total of ten #1 awards with consecutive wins in Korea, having the single becoming a national and international success. After only a month of release, the album became South Korea's best-selling album of 2009.

Sorry, Sorry was also a critically and commercially successful hit in other Asian countries, opting the group to become the only overseas representative for the second time at Taiwan's annual Golden Melody Awards. Sorry, Sorry was a best-selling Korean-language album in Taiwan, Thailand, China, and the Philippines, in which the latter listed the album to be the first K-pop album to reach #1 in music charts from the country!!!

Now lets all wait for their 4th album!

2010 album: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
It wasn't official if Super Junior was going to release the album in 2010, but confirmed that the album was going to be recorded in China. ^^
